Bunk beds are great space Savers
Bunk beds are a creative use of space and are available in different colors, shapes and sizes. Bunk beds are available in a variety of materials, including wood and metal and are available with several options, including bookshelves, desks, and play space below. They also come with option of queen beds, and not just twins. It is unreal how choices that are available for bunk beds.
We decided to use bunk beds in the bedroom of my oldest son when we moved into our new house. We thought it was an excellent choice because it allowed us to have the same amount sleeping space as a pair of twin beds, but use less space. The bed came with twin beds and shelves at one end and a office on the other. It is made from knotty pine.
When we decided to build our house the weekend on the river, we have decided to include a loft to be used for extra sleep over the night quests. Our goal was to sleep as much quests as comfortably as possible. The best way we found was to use bunk beds in the loft. We have been able to use the same amount of floor space than two single beds and sleep twice the amount of quests. It developed to be the perfect choice for us and the children love this room.
It is amazing the different options available for bunk beds. They even come with queen beds on the bottom. In fact, my nephew has a bunk bed with a metal bed on top and a queen futon bed on the bottom. This package allows up to him to use the futon down like a couch watching TV or playing video games with his friends and then get out of a bed to sleep.
We have seen several on holiday where condominiums have used bunk beds in small spaces. More recently, we saw the case of a condominium has used a large closet in the hall of the house of a set of bunk beds for extra guests.
They had used folding doors to close the space off when not in use. It allowed us to sleep comfortably in all the beds. The kids thought it was a space created for them and they loved it.
When we were looking for bunk beds to use in my son's room where we were surprised by the beds Bunk different creative available. For boys, we saw the beds that have been made to look like a fortress with a tent cover on the top and the material like a tent on boxing down in a space to resemble a fortress. We also saw choices for girls who have been made to look like a palace or a castle with towers above, for a little girl. They were so clear.
Each year it seems to new bunk bed design to choose from. These can be anything from tubes of metal wood, plastic preforms or modular. Bunk beds are great to use the vertical space in a room to increase the floor space. Bunk beds vary in design classic one-on-a form of L-forms, where the space created in the upper bunk can be used for storage, as an engineering your child or play, or to a TV or PC. Bunk beds may have a double bed on the lower bunk with a single above. It's great for adolescents.
There are also ingenious systems to add more storage space such as sliding drawers under the lower bunk, or the ability to convert the lower bunk into a sofa practice for children to receive visitors. Bed scales may be removable be part of the bed frame, or a stair system built in.
Bunk beds can be removable, which means that you can separate the bed in two, if a new room is available and you want to divide the children.
Bunk beds are great for adults too, creating a bed for sleeping guests. Holiday cabins and ski chalets often boast of bunk beds, sometimes rustic logs, with extra space storage.
In summary, the bunk beds can use small areas, can be great for storage and hide toys and bedding can provide Privacy and office space for your future Bill Gates, and are perfect for the dodos and the sleeping area. And outside of their practicality, remember not they also make large machines time inter-galactic!
